Not much to report this week when it comes to workouts. It’s recovery week and the schedule is a little more stretching, yoga and cardio oriented. These workouts don’t offer much data for progress charts or comparisons.
There are only so many times I can say, “WOW! What a great workout!” before y’all (sometimes I like to pretend I am from Appalachia, though I did go to college in that neck of the woods for a while) quit reading!
The schedule looks a little something like this:
Day 1 – Yoga X
Day 2 – Core Synergistics
Day 3 – Kenpo X
Day 4 – X Stretch
Day 5 – Core Synergistics
Day 6 – Yoga X
Day 7 – Rest or X Stretch
It is a mellower schedule in which you work hard, sweat, stretch and struggle. There are only a few pushups and a couple of light weight exercises in the core workout. It is a nice change of pace and a decent workout.
Yesterday was X Stretch and I just finished up the Core Synergistics this evening. 26 Days done! Almost 1/3rd the way there!
On a good note, I am starting to notice a lot more energy in the day time and I am sleeping a little better at night. Actually, sleeping quite well! I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. I think my sleepy time tea might have something to do with that though.
I am looking forward to Yoga X tomorrow and working on article going into the benefits of Yoga! Everyone should at least keep an open mind and consider it!
